* Experience:
Began in the insurance industry more than 37 years ago.
More than 25 years in all facets of life, health and property/casualty sales. Has been an
agent, broker, general agent, Managing General Agent, Agency Secretary, Trainer, Regional
Sales VP, and was president
of a successful five-state insurance marketing organization for 10 years.
* Qualifications:
Served as Market Conduct Officer for a mid-sized mutual life company for seven years.
Worked on every committee during the formation of Insurance Marketplace Standards Association
(IMSA) with the exception of the CEO Task Force and served as a Deputy to the first IMSA
Chair. After serving as Chair of the training committee that introduced IMSA to the
insurance industry, became an Independent Assessor and continues in that capacity. Was
Chair of the initial Assessor Standards Committee of IMSA. Served on the original committee
for the formation of what is now known as the Compliance Section of the ACLI.
* Industry education and contributions:
Obtained the FLMI designation in 1974, followed by the CLU, AIRC, RHU, ACS and AIAA
designations. Has written numerous industry magazine articles and been a presenter and
speaker for LIMRA, AICP, LOMA, ACLI and other trade organizations and companies.

* Experience:
After a career in process improvement, communications, and training, joined the insurance
industry in 1995. Has provided market conduct services to the insurance industry since the 1997.
* Qualifications:
Has worked with over 70 client companies in Market Conduct and Best Practices and ethics
consulting. Has provided education workshops, IMSA services, and consulting for ethics and
insurance advertising to a broad range of insurance companies. Helped develop and co-teaches
"A Practical Approach to Advertising Compliance for the Insurance Industry" seminar as well
as the new Regional Best Practices Seminars nationwide.
Is an approved IMSA Independent Assessor.
* Industry education and contributions:
Obtained FLMI, HIA, AIRC, and ACS designations within two years of entering the insurance
industry. Author of a study guide companion to the IMSA Handbook for both the home office
and field. Instrumental in organizing the new Insurance Advertising Compliance
Association (IAdCA) whose inaugural meeting was spring of 2002.
